DOA6: Last Round omits Mai and Kula, drops crossplay and upgrade options
Koei Tecmo’s Dead or Alive 6: Last Round will not include Mai Shiranui or Kula Diamond, will not offer upgrade paths or rollback netcode, and will not support crossplay; the new version must be purchased separately, with Core Fighters providing four free characters, and existing DOA6 owners receiving no upgrade or DLC key transfers. SNK guest characters are not returning; the standard edition has 29 characters (down from 31). It launches June 25, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, with post-launch character/costume updates planned.
