Exploring Consent and Devastating Consequences in "How to Have Sex"
"How to Have Sex" is a debut feature film by British filmmaker Molly Manning Walker, about three teenage girls on holiday in Malia, Crete, trying to have sex for the first time. The film explores the complexities of consent and the post-sex phase in the mind of the shyest of the trio, Tara. The film is an interestingly unsentimental coming-of-age story, without the cliches, and the three leads emerge stronger and happier than before.
