Berlin mall boar steered out by police after surprise shop intrusion
A wild boar wandered into a Berlin shopping mall’s home decor shop, triggering a police-and-veterinary response with shields and a tranquilizer gun plus a blowgun. Officers cordoned off the area, used pallets and riot shields to guide the animal outside, and, due to the shop’s layout, sedation wasn’t pursued; the boar then returned to the forest.
