Blackwater and Marginal Gain Unveil 'Orient' Drivetrain to Fix 1x Chainline
Blackwater Bicycles and Marginal Gain have introduced a prototype drivetrain called 'Orient' at the CRAFTED Bike Show in Cane Creek. The system uses a unique chainring layout to keep the chain straighter across the cassette, aiming to reduce friction and wear in 1x setups. The prototype was displayed on a Blackwater Splitfire and is designed to work with standard SRAM XPLR cranks.
