"Top College Softball Teams Compete in NCAA Regionals Across the Country"
The No. 3 Florida State softball team will face Marist in the first game of the Tallahassee Regional of the NCAA Tournament. The Seminoles have won their last 16 games and hold the second-longest active winning streak in the country. They are also the ACC Regular Season and Tournament Champions for the 14th time in school history. The Seminoles have qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the 23rd consecutive season and have hosted nine-straight NCAA Regionals. Kathryn Sandercock was named the ACC Pitcher of the Year and Head Coach Lonni Alameda was named the ACC Coach of the Year.
