"Poll: Majority of New Hampshire Voters Oppose Trump's Presidential Immunity Claims"
A Marist College poll reveals that nearly two-thirds of New Hampshire voters believe Donald Trump should not receive immunity from criminal prosecution for actions taken while he was president. Trump is awaiting a ruling from a federal appeals court on his claim of presidential immunity from criminal charges related to his effort to subvert the 2020 election. The poll comes ahead of the state’s first-in-the-nation primary, where Trump is leading among GOP presidential candidates. Overall, only 33 percent of voters said Trump should have immunity from prosecution for actions he took while he was president, though that included 69 percent of Republicans, according to the poll.
