Former Ohio Republican Party Chairman Matt Borges has been sentenced to five years in federal prison for his involvement in a bribery scandal. Borges, who worked as a lobbyist for FirstEnergy Solutions, collaborated with former Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder to secure a $1 billion bailout for the utility company in exchange for $60 million in bribes.
