
Deadly tornado causes widespread damage in Oklahoma.
At least one person has died after a large and extremely dangerous tornado hit Cole, Oklahoma, on Wednesday night, causing significant damage to infrastructure and power lines. The tornado watch has been issued for portions of six states, including Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. Severe weather, including huge hail and damaging wind gusts, is expected to move out of the West and into the Plains on Wednesday night. The severe weather threat is forecast to stretch from Austin, Texas, to St. Louis, Missouri, on Thursday, with a line of severe storms packing damaging winds and large hail.
