Irvine McLaren Crash Kills Car Show Founder and Florida Visitor
A 2019 McLaren crashed into a tree in Irvine early Sunday, killing two occupants. The driver was identified as James Wehr, a co-founder of the popular South OC Cars and Coffee event. The passenger, a 22-year-old woman from Florida, died alongside him. Police reported the car lost control at high speed after a traffic light turned green.
