Former boxing world champion Zolani Tete shot dead outside his South Africa home
Former world boxing champion Zolani Tete was shot and killed in his car outside his Mdantsane home in the Eastern Cape, with a 27-year-old woman injured. Tete, who held WBF flyweight and WBO bantamweight titles, had been attempting a comeback after a 2017 doping suspension. Police said two masked suspects ambushed them as they waited for the gate to open.
