Massive SSD Smuggling Operation Uncovered: Man Arrested with Hundreds of Drives Taped to His Body
A man attempting to smuggle 420 M.2 SSD storage drives, valued at $32,984.94, into China from Macao was caught with the drives taped to his waist. This is not the first time M.2 SSDs have been smuggled into China, with a previous incident involving 84 SSDs hidden inside a scooter. The metallic parts of the SSDs make it difficult to pass through metal detectors undetected.
