Jaswant Singh Chail, a 21-year-old British man, has been sentenced to nine years in jail for breaking into Windsor Castle with a loaded crossbow and planning to assassinate Queen Elizabeth II. Chail, who pleaded guilty to charges including treason and possession of an offensive weapon, will serve his term at a high-security psychiatric hospital until he is deemed well enough to be transferred to prison.
