Archer Aviation Lands $142 Million eVTOL Contract with US Air Force
Archer Aviation has secured a contract worth up to $142 million from the US Air Force to deliver up to six Midnight eVTOLs. The contract includes sharing flight test data, certification-related test reports, pilot training, and assisting in the development of maintenance and repair operations. The Air Force plans to use the eVTOLs for personnel transport, logistics, and rescue operations. Archer will continue to collaborate with the Department of Defense under a Government Services Advisory Board.
