Montenegro's Presidential Election Heads to Runoff
Montenegro's presidential election is heading to a runoff on April 2, according to preliminary results. Incumbent President Milo Djukanovic received 35% of the vote, while former Economy Minister Jakov Milatovic of the new "Europe Now!" party received 27%. Djukanovic is likely to face Milatovic in the second round. The election comes amid a yearlong political crisis and uncertainty over Montenegro's bid to join the EU or improve ties with Serbia and Russia.
