Arcadia teen Mina Kurdian killed by ex-boyfriend who forced entry after earlier confrontation
15-year-old Mina Kurdian was fatally shot in her Arcadia home on Thursday by 20-year-old Paul Anthony Cruz Jr., her ex-boyfriend. Cruz had earlier that morning barged into the residence drunk and belligerent, but was kicked out. He returned around 11 a.m., forced entry by shooting through a window, and killed Kurdian. Cruz fled to Pasadena, where he attempted suicide in a parking lot and remains in critical condition.
