"Minnesota Zoo's Treetop Trail: Elevated Adventure Awaits"
The Minnesota Zoo is set to open its new Treetop Trail on Friday, which is the world's longest elevated pedestrian loop, offering visitors a unique perspective on popular animals such as tigers, moose, bison, and birds. The 1.25-mile trail, located 32 feet above the ground, took about a year to build and incorporates the retired monorail track. To celebrate the grand opening, Governor Tim Walz has declared Friday as "Minnesota Zoo Treetop Trail Day." The trail will be open to all zoo guests during specific hours throughout the weekend.
