Modest Mouse parts ways with guitarist amid alleged messages to minor
Modest Mouse has dropped guitarist Simon O'Connor from its upcoming tour after a Reddit post alleged he sent inappropriate messages to a 16-year-old fan, including an erotic image; Seth Jabour of Les Savy Fav will fill in on guitar. O'Connor apologized, saying he misidentified a profile and deleted the messages, and noted he had joined Modest Mouse in 2021 after touring with MGMT and appearing on their latest album.
