Perinton family abducted over weekend found safe, sheriff says
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says a mother, 54-year-old Mouna Omar Saleh Ali, and her children Julie Abdulla Saleh (7) and Hafiz Mouna Ali Ali (9) were abducted Saturday in Perinton by a family member. They have been found safe. The suspect is Amar Abdullah Qasim Saleh, 26, who is Julie and Hafiz’s brother and Mouna’s son. Investigators are reviewing a pictured white or silver 2026 Toyota Camry or Honda Accord as possibly linked, and the incident appears isolated with no threat to the public as the investigation continues.
