SNK reveals Mr. Karate as the final mystery character for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves on PS5 and PS4. The fighter arrives as the penultimate DLC character in the second season pass, wearing his iconic Tengu mask; Kenshiro is set to follow in June. The game has recently received a significant update including a refreshed UI and a new visual-novel-style story mode focusing on Wolfgang Krauser, with more details to come on his gameplay.

During Evo Japan 2026, SNK revealed that Robert Garcia will don the Mr. Karate mantle for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Season 2, trading the mask for an aging, cape-like coat and gray hair. The teaser doesn’t show gameplay, but positions Mr. Karate as a link to the Art of Fighting era. He’s slated to arrive in South Town in May alongside other Season 2 fighters (Kim Jae Hoon, Nightmare Geese, Blue Mary, Wolfgang Krauser, Kenshiro), with the game’s first anniversary sale running through May 6.
