Stan Kroenke has become the nation’s largest private landowner, owning about 2.7 million acres across the American West and Canada, including 937,000 acres in New Mexico. His holdings include major sports franchises — the Rams, Arsenal, the Denver Nuggets, the Colorado Rapids, and the Colorado Mammoth — plus roughly 60 million square feet of commercial space, with development like the Promenade mall site in Woodland Hills planned for a new Rams facility.
