Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared Iftar with Muslim soldiers observing Ramadan, calling it a new tradition of respect. He also criticized Russia's treatment of Muslims in Crimea and vowed to liberate the region, which was annexed by Moscow in 2014. The dinner included leaders of the Mejlis and representatives of the Muslim clergy.
