Second USF doctoral student identified among Tampa Bay victims
Human remains found in Tampa Bay have been identified as Nahida Bristy, the second missing University of South Florida doctoral student, while Zamil Limon’s body was found earlier. Bristy and Limon disappeared on April 16; identity was confirmed by DNA and dental records, with plans to release the bodies to families in Bangladesh for religious reasons. Limon’s roommate, Hisham Abugarbieh, is jailed on two counts of first-degree murder and related charges after allegedly asking ChatGPT how to dispose of a body; Bristy and Limon had dated, and Limon studied AI in environmental science while Bristy studied chemical engineering.
