Olympic Champion Nancy Hogshead Demands WNBA Define 'Woman' for Eligibility
Olympic gold medalist Nancy Hogshead launched a Change.org petition urging the WNBA to explicitly define 'woman' and restrict eligibility to biological females; the petition has more than 11,000 signatures since Aug. 14 and aims for 100,000 as the debate over transgender participation in women's sports continues, with the league's 2026 CBA already stating only women are eligible but not defining 'woman'.
