Blakeman calls ex-wife’s marriage to Paul McCartney surreal, but cordial
GOP Nassau County executive Bruce Blakeman says it’s surreal his ex-wife Nancy Shevell married Sir Paul McCartney, but he describes McCartney as a “nice guy” and a supportive stepfather to his son Arlen. Blakeman notes they don’t discuss politics, even as he campaigns for New York governor and remains a Trump ally, while McCartney—an activist who has criticized Trump—speaks out on political issues.
