China's Stock Market Plummets Amid Economic Uncertainty
The Nasdaq Golden Dragon index, which tracks U.S.-listed Chinese companies, has fallen over 2% and is on pace for its lowest close and intraday level of the year. Chinese stocks are also in a bear market. Electric-car maker NIO and e-commerce company JD.com are among the Chinese ADRs that are down, both trading around 52-week lows.
