Baumbach Signs Warner Bros. First-Look Deal to Launch Clockwork Film
Noah Baumbach has signed a three-year, first-look deal with Warner Bros. to develop and release features, with his Clockwork indie label handling the project slate. His inaugural Clockwork film, written, directed and produced by Baumbach, will focus on two New York City college students and receive a wide theatrical release, produced by David Heyman and LuckyChap. The deal marks Baumbach’s return to theatrical projects after his Netflix era and follows his Barbie co-writing credit with Greta Gerwig.
