Canadian man faces prison for stealing Las Vegas flamingo
Mitchell Fairbarn, a Canadian tourist, was convicted of felony and misdemeanor animal cruelty for stealing and injuring a flamingo named Peachy from the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel in March 2026. He faces up to four years in prison, with sentencing set for December 1.
