Transit systems call for Madison Square Garden to relocate from Penn Station.
NJ Transit and two other railroads that use Penn Station have released a report stating that Madison Square Garden interferes with plans to improve the station and is not a compatible use. The report was sent to the New York City Planning Commission, which is considering whether to renew the Garden's special permit to operate the arena.
