Mother's Day weekend weather: Storms possible, stay alert.
A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of Kansas and Missouri until 11 p.m. A tornado warning has been issued for Atchison County, Missouri, with a large, ragged wall cloud seen just 10 miles west of Rockport. KMBC First Alert Meteorologist Nick Bender is tracking the storm, reporting a wall cloud with some slow rotation. There's been no confirmed tornado on the ground yet, according to the National Weather Service.
