The Philadelphia Flyers have signed forward Noah Cates to a two-year contract worth $5.25 million ($2.625 million AAV). Cates had an impressive rookie season, recording 38 points in 82 games and tying for the team lead in game-winning goals. Prior to joining the Flyers, Cates played four seasons at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and represented the United States in international competitions. He was originally selected by the Flyers in the fifth round of the 2017 NHL Draft.
