Extinction Rebellion stages massive 4-day protest in London.
Extinction Rebellion has launched a four-day mass action in London, called "The Big One," to demand the government do more to tackle the climate crisis. The group hopes that 100,000 people will gather outside parliament this weekend for the event, and so far has seen 30,000 people register their interest. The action promises targeted "non-violent civil disobedience" and less disruption than previous protests. The group has called for more people to join the movement, warning that more drastic action is inevitable the closer we get to the fire.
