"Nordic Workers Pose Challenges for Elon Musk's Tesla Empire"
Nordic workers, including mechanics, dockworkers, and car dealership employees, are joining forces in a mounting anti-Tesla campaign against Elon Musk's electric vehicle giant. Swedish workers initiated a strike in October, demanding a collective agreement on wages and working conditions. Unions from neighboring countries, such as Denmark, Norway, and Finland, are now showing solidarity by blocking the transportation of Teslas through their respective harbors. The United Auto Workers union in the U.S. is also pushing to unionize Tesla workers, while Germany's largest union, IG Metall, is seeing a rise in signups from concerned Tesla workers. Musk's anti-union views and alleged union-busting tactics are drawing criticism, and the European Trade Union Confederation is calling on the European Union to take action.
