Netanyahu’s Iran nuclear claims clash with public evidence and US intel
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu argued that Iran would have built and used a nuclear weapon against Israel if not for two wars, a claim not supported by public evidence and contrary to IAEA and U.S. intelligence assessments, which say Iran has had no active weapons program since 2003 despite near-weapons-grade enrichment; the 2025 ODNI report also says Iran is not building a weapon.
