Keighley and Cerny Launch Nova Games Foundation to Fund 20 New Developers Annually
Geoff Keighley and Mark Cerny have established the Nova Games Foundation, a philanthropic initiative designed to support the next generation of game developers. The foundation will award grants totaling up to $2 million annually to 20 recent university graduates. These grants, ranging from $100,000 to $500,000, are intended to help new creators bring their projects to market without the foundation taking equity or financial stakes. The initiative partners with 13 global university programs and aims to provide mentorship and career stability in an industry where traditional advancement paths are increasingly difficult.
