Reno Shooting Incidents Lead to Arrest and Hospitalization.
A suspect was arrested and booked into the Washoe County jail after a Nevada State Police trooper-involved shooting near the Reno airport. The incident started when NSP responded to a report of a reckless driver near Interstate 580 and the Mount Rose Highway in south Reno. The suspect was stopped just east of Interstate 580 and there were no other details released about the circumstances leading to the shooting. The sheriff’s office is handling the investigation.
