The NYPD Sergeants' Union has endorsed Republican Mazi Pilip for the Congressional seat left vacant by George Santos, ahead of the upcoming special election. The union cited Pilip's support for law enforcement and criticism of cashless bail and the migrant crisis, while also taking a swipe at former Rep. Tom Suozzi. Pilip, who has also garnered support from other law enforcement organizations, is in a tight race with Suozzi, according to a recent poll.
