LVMPD identifies second officer in fatal Las Vegas shooting near I-11
Las Vegas police announced that Officer Enrique Molinet is the second officer involved in Tuesday's fatal shooting near Mountain Vista Street and I-11, following the identification of Officer Austin Abdelnabi as the fallen officer. Molinet, 29, who joined LVMPD in 2022, is on routine paid administrative leave while the investigation continues; as of Thursday, no suspect had been identified and officials expected an update Friday.
