Zelensky Overhauls Ukraine's Security Council in Response to Escalating Tensions
President Zelensky has dismissed Oleksiy Danilov from the post of secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council and appointed Oleksandr Lytvynenko as his replacement. The reason for the shakeup has not been given, and Zelensky has yet to comment on Danilov’s dismissal. Danilov had served as National Security and Defense Council secretary since 2019.
