Mega Chandelure Debuts as Top Ghost Attacker in Pokémon GO Halloween Event
Mega Chandelure debuted in Pokémon GO on October 31, 2026, during a three-hour Super Mega Raid Day event. As a Ghost/Fire-type, it is currently the game's strongest Ghost-type attacker, outperforming Mega Gengar and Dawn Wings Necrozma in damage output. The event introduced the 'Super Max' Mega Level progression and the new Charged Attack 'Ominous Wind+.' While highly effective against Ghost and Psychic raid bosses, it is outclassed by other Megas in the Fire-type meta. Players can catch regular Chandelure with Mega Level 1 unlocked, and shiny variants are available with increased odds during the event.
