Radio Caroline breached rules with king’s death broadcast, Ofcom finds

Oakland A's broadcaster fired for using racial slur on air.

NBC Sports California has decided to part ways with Oakland A's announcer Glen Kuiper after an internal review of his on-air use of a racial epithet during a game on May 5. Kuiper had referred to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City but pronounced the word "n—." He issued an on-air apology during the game and a statement after his suspension.
