Glen Kuiper Fired from A's Broadcasting Role Over Racial Slur
Oakland A's television play-by-play broadcaster Glen Kuiper was fired after using a racial epithet during a game while discussing his visit to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. He apologized and had been suspended since the incident. His brother, longtime Giants play-by-play man Duane Kuiper, commented on the incident, saying it's a tough time for the family. Glen Kuiper also works for NBC Sports Bay Area, who broadcast both Giants games locally.
