Jason Jones and Margaret Stohl Launch Stone Kite to Develop Transmedia Universe 'One Zero One'
Bungie co-founder Jason Jones and author Margaret Stohl have launched Stone Kite, a Los Angeles-based studio focused on creating original universes across multiple media formats. Their first project, 'One Zero One,' is a sci-fi narrative about rogue AI robots, debuting as a four-part comic series in October 2026. The studio aims to break traditional media silos by involving creators from film, TV, comics, and literature from the start, rather than adapting a single medium outward. Jones, known for Halo and Destiny, and Stohl, a bestselling author, are leading a team of over 200 contributors to expand the 'One Zero One' world through prose, audio, and screen projects throughout 2027.
