Pokemon Champions launches for Nintendo Switch on April 8 as a free-to-start online battling game where players assemble a team of six, battle opponents online, recruit Pokemon through Pokemon HOME or daily random pulls, and spend Victory Points in battles and the in-game shop; optional add-ons include the Starter Pack, a Premium Battle Pass, and a membership, while Switch 2 gets a free graphics upgrade and iOS/Android versions are planned for later in 2026.
