Interpol-led Operation Jackal IV across 22 countries and six continents led to the arrests of 58 people linked to West African cybercrime networks behind romance and investment scams; 263 suspects identified; raids included Argentina, Italy, Romania and South Africa, where 39 arrests were made, $2.67m seized and 257 bank accounts blocked; the operation, running from November 2025 to June 2026, also examined money laundering and crypto-fraud schemes tied to groups like Black Axe, underscoring international cooperation against cybercrime.
