Ukraine’s president Zelenskyy awarded Elon Musk the Order of Freedom for Starlink’s role in supporting Ukrainian forces, while Kyiv presses Musk to allow Ukrainian use of Starlink inside Russia to improve strike accuracy; Musk has called such use an escalation, though he could change his stance, following SpaceX’s 2026 move to disable thousands of Russian-terminal Starlinks.
