Academy Expands Oscar Voter Base with 529 Invites for 2026 Class
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences invited 529 film professionals to become Oscar voters for the 2026 class; among the invitees, 42% are women, 56% come from underrepresented communities, and 53% are from outside the United States.
