China expands exit bans, allowing up to three-year travel holds for security risks
China has tightened travel controls, authorizing authorities to bar citizens from leaving the country for up to three years after they return if they harmed national security overseas, and to ban those who violate technology import/export rules; border officials must now advise against travel to high-risk destinations.
