Kremlin Spokesman's Son Accused of Fighting in Ukraine as Wagner Mercenary
The son of Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Nikolai Choles, has been accused of falsely claiming to have fought in Ukraine while his luxury Tesla was racking up parking fines in Moscow. Choles claimed to have served with the Wagner Group, a Russian mercenary outfit, but a military blogger published pictures and information showing that Choles' car was fined for traffic violations in Moscow between July and November 2022, the time he claimed to have been on the front line. Both Choles and his father have been sanctioned by the US.
