Penske taps Gray as No. 12 pit jackman ahead of Kansas Cup race
Team Penske announced Patrick Gray will replace Landon Honeycutt as the No. 12 pit crew’s jackman for Ryan Blaney’s car at Kansas, part of ongoing adjustments after pit-stop struggles this season. Gray previously worked with the No. 21 team, and the move comes as Blaney’s crew has ranked near the bottom in pit times and mistakes. Additionally, Berry will have a different crew chief this weekend (Matt Swiderski), as regular Miles Stanley won’t travel; Blaney has shown capability at Kansas with a couple of top-fives recently.
