FX Drops Marathon Day: A Standalone Prequel to Adults
FX will release a standalone prequel episode titled Marathon Day for its comedy Adults, introducing the friend group and Paul Baker’s origin. Written by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw and directed by Jonathan Krisel, the episode premieres at the Tribeca Festival and streams July 31 on FX and Hulu (with limited releases on Hulu’s YouTube channel and FX’s TikTok/Instagram). Adults Season 2 follows on Aug. 27, with the eight-episode season available on Hulu and FXX on demand and two new episodes airing each week on FXX.
